- increased energy costs hit the mill hard

The extraordinary increase of energy related costs force us to close one tissue machine for financial reasons.

During this year the price for natrual gas as well as electricity increased in a unpredictable way. This hits our energy-intense industry hard and does drastically reduce the possibilities for profitable business at Klippans Bruk.

The company considers it necessary to shut one machine line down and notify 24 persons at the mill of termination.

Unprofitable products/orders will be rejected due to decreased capacity.

This action is taken in order to secure a future for the mill.
